Emerciv Groups are a convenient way for non-profit organizations and social networks to communicate and perform tasks together. The open architecture of the Emerciv Groups system allows for a wide variety of possible uses, based on the simple idea that people need to band together to achieve their goals.

In Emerciv, a group is a collection of material (pages, events, news, etc) that are collectively owned by the members of the Group. To accommodate the various governing systems in the real world, our Groups can be configured with a variety of permissions. A Group could reserve certain functionality to selected members, or could give everyone equal ability to create, delete, or modify things on behalf of the entire Group.
